Attitude is the ability to give a judgment about an object whereas aptitude is about problem-solving skills.

Attitude

Aptitude

Attitude is related to existing abilities and skills with certain perceptions. It is how a person perceives something.

Aptitude is the potential ability to acquire skills, abilities, and knowledge. It is more about the management of a problem or situation.

Attitude is a positive or negative or indifferent feeling towards a person, object, event, or idea.

Aptitude is a competency (ability) to do certain kinds of work.

Attitude is associated with character or virtues. It means attitude depends upon underlying values.

Aptitude is associated with skill enhancement, learning, and training.

Attitude is a more mental and psychological process. It means a person’s attitude is intrinsic and is shaped through his thoughts.

Aptitude is both mental and physical. To develop an aptitude both physical means say visual means and mental processes are important.

Relevancy of aptitude: Aptitude defines the values that people hold in i.e. how he will uphold the administrative values, constitutional values, etc. Aptitude also tells about the perception of a person towards the problem whether he takes it as a challenge, opportunity, or a give up. So somewhere Aptitude links to Emotional Intelligence i.e. Emotional Quotient. A high EQ with a low IQ person can be a good administrator but a high IQ and Low EQ person will be a corrupt person as he will find the ways through his IQ. A high EQ person will work on problem prevention and a high IQ person will work on problem-solving.

That’s why we can say that high EQ persons are more desirable than High IQ in administration.
