UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 Notification Released
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the Civil Services Examination in CSE 2025 on January 22.
The application process will start with the release of the UPSC Civil Services Notification. Moreover, The end date for application submission is February 11. The prelims examination in 2025 will be held on May 25.
Candidates scoring above the cutoff marks in CSE prelims would be allowed to register for the UPSC main examination. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination has two papers with 200 marks each, of objective and multiple choice questions. Pattern of Examination
As per the UPSC 2025 notification, the UPSC Civil Services prelims will be held on May 25, 2025. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will bear two objective-type papers (multiple-choice questions) with a score weight of 200 each.
This examination called the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination is for the objective type and the marks obtained in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, which is conducted as a screening test, by any of the candidates declared qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, will not be counted for determining the final merit or order of merit.
Fee as per UPSC CSE Notification 2025
In the UPSC civil services notification, potential applicants have to pay an amount of Rs. 100 as UPSC CSE Exam Form fee. Conversely, the SC/ST, women, and candidates with benchmark disabilities are assured exemption from paying the fee. Deposit the fee to any State Bank of India branch; then you can either pay by means like Net Banking (in the case of Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit cards) or UPI Payment.

- First visit the official site of UPSC that is: https://upsc.gov.in/
- Click on the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2025 registration link as soon as you visit the home page.
- Upon clicking the link, a new page will appear wherein online registration is to be done by candidates.
- After successful registration, kindly log in to your account.
- Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
- The application form can be submitted by clicking on the submit key and thereafter downloading the page.
