Context-

Six tigers are missing in Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary Rajasthan

 About the tiger Sanctuary- 

• This tiger reserve life in the Eastern part of Rajasthan at the junction of Aravali and Vindhya ranges
• It comprises of Ranthambore National Park develop Sawai Mansingh and Kela Devi sanctuary

Vegetation

•  vegetation includes grasslands on plateau use and dense forest along the seasonal streams
•  The forest is mainly tropical dry deciduous.

 Wildlife

•  the park is rich in wildlife with tiger at the apex of the food chain in mammals

 other protected areas in Rajasthan

•   Keoladeo National park Bharatpur
• Sajjangarh wildlife sanctuary Udaipur
•  National Chambal sanctuary
