Context-

Every year, World Immunisation Week is celebrated in the last week of April. The aim is to promote the use of vaccines. 

Theme-

This year, the World Immunisation Week is to be celebrated under the following theme: Vaccines bring us closer

Objective-

• The world, there are more than twenty million children in the world that miss out on vaccines.
• In the era of COVID-19, several children have not been vaccinated with their measles and polio vaccines.
