The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts HAS examinations for aspirants who are eligible to get into state administrative services. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission which was established in 1971 under Article 318 of the Constitution of India. The commission  selects Group A and Group B officers in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The examination is conducted in three stages: the preliminary stage, the mains examination and the interview or personality test.
