Tolkappiyam-Sangam Literature- The division of Akam & Puram- The Secular characteristics of Sangam Literature- The development of Ethical Literature- Silapathikaram & Manimekalai.

Part 3: Devotional Literature (Alwars & Nayanamars)

The Bridal mysticism in Alwar hymns- Minor Literary forms (Tutu, Ula, Purani, Kuravanji).
