 Recently Lokpal of India organised a webinar  on bringing synergies in anti corruption strategies

 key points

• The webinar commemorate 2 years of its Inception
• The webinar is presided over by the chairperson of the Lokpal in India
•  Other invitees are member of Lokpal Central Vigilance Commission, secretary of information on a real-time basis
•  it was decided to work on creating a web portal  with restricted access that would enable sharing of relevant information

About Lokpal

1.  It was established under the Lokpal and Lokayukta Act 2013
2. It do not have any constitutional status
3.  It perform the function of an ombudsman
4. It enquire into allegations of corruption against current and public functionaries and for related matters
