Context
Recently the European Commission proposed to create a digital green certificate to facilitate the safe and free movement of the regions within the European Union amid the covid-19 pandemic
About the certificate
- It is a type of Vaccine Passport. it will be available to the citizens who are covid-19 vaccinated
- It is also available to the person recovered from covid-19 once the Digital Certificate is issued the person can travel freely within the European Union bloc
Features of the card
- The digital brief certificate will be in digital or paper format with the QR code
- The certificate can be issued by authority including Hospital, testing Centre and health authorities
- All EU citizens for third country nationals who are legally staying in European Union can use it.
