Three laborers were killed and two others injured during an operation to down a forest fire at Navegaon Nagzira Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra

About the Reserve

It was notified at the 46 Tiger Reserve of India in December 2013
It comprised of the notified area of Navegaon National Park, Navegaon wildlife sanctuary, Nagzira wildlife sanctuary, and Koka wildlife sanctuary

Flora

The major forest type is southern tropical dry deciduous forest

Fauna-

Large carnivores such as leopards and Small carnivore like wild dogs, Wolf jackals
