1.February 12: National Productivity Day
Purpose– To promote the culture of productivity and quality consciousness across all sectors in the country. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry Government of India celebrated this day as a National productivity Day.
For the private sector ISRO opens satellite testing
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has opened its UR Rao Satellite Centre for testing satellites developed by the private sector for the first time in its history.SpaceKidz India and Pixxel (incorporated as Syzygy) were tested at the UR Rao Satellite Centre developed by the Indian startups.
‘COVID Warrior Memorial’ in Bhubaneswar constructed in Odisha
With the sacrifice and services rendered by the Covid warriors during lockdown who lost their lives fighting the pandemic, the government has decided to construct a Covid Warrior Memorial in Odisha. The Biju Patnaik Park in Bhubaneswar has been selected for this purpose.
