1. (a) अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः संस्कृतभाषया समाधेयाः : Answer all of the following (to be written in Sanskrit language) : 1×10=10 – (i) ‘यय्’-प्रत्याहारस्य वर्णाः लेख्याः । – (ii) आभ्यन्तरप्रयत्नाः कति सन्ति ? तेषां नामानि लेखनीयानि । – (iii) क्, झ्, ड्, थ्, व् – इत्येतेषां वर्णानाम् उच्चारणस्थानानि विलेख्यानि । – (iv) ‘संहिता’-सञ्जाविधायकं सूत्रं किमस्ति ? – (v) बालकैः अपूपाः भुज्यन्ते – इत्यत्र वाच्यपरिवर्तनं क्रियताम् । – (vi) ‘शिवेहि’ इत्यत्र सूत्रोल्लेखपूर्वकं सन्धिविच्छेदः कार्यः । – (vii) ‘वाग्धरिः’ इत्यत्र सूत्रोल्लेखपूर्वकं सन्धिविच्छेदः करणीयः । – (viii) ‘अनुरूपम्’ इत्यत्र विग्रहपूर्वकं समासनाम लेख्यम् । – (ix) ‘प्राप्ता विद्या यया’ इत्यत्र समासनामोल्लेखपूर्वकं समासो विधेयः । – (x) ‘गुरुः शिष्यान् पाठयति’ इत्यत्र वाच्यपरिवर्तनं विधीयताम् । (b) अधोनिर्दिष्टानां रेखाङ्कितपदानां सूत्रोल्लेखपूर्वकं विभक्तेरूपपत्तिः संस्कृतेन निरूपणीया : 2×5=10 – (i) द्रोणो ब्रीहिः । – (ii) क्रोशं कुटिला नदी । – (iii) बालकेभ्यः क्रीडा रोचते । – (iv) आचार्यात् छात्रः शास्त्रम् अधीते । – (v) कवीनां श्रेष्ठः कालिदासः । (c) अधोलिखितसूत्राणाम् अर्थः सोदाहरणं 3-4 पंक्तिभिः लेख्यः – 2×5=10 (i) आदिरन्त्येन सहेता । (ii) वृद्धिरेचि । (iii) अधिशीड्स्थासां कर्म । (iv) तृतीया तत्कृतार्थेन गुणवचनेन । (v) अजाद्यदन्तम् । (d) गौणकर्मणः मुख्यकर्मणश्च भिन्नता सोदाहरणं प्रदर्शनीया । 10 (e) 'संख्या वश्येन' इति सूत्रं सोदाहरणं व्याख्येयम् । 10
2. अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः समाधेयाः : 20+15+15=50 Answer all of the following questions : (a) वैदिकसंस्कृतभाषायां सुबन्तपदप्रयोगवैविध्यं प्रतिपाद्यम् । 20 Explain the diversity in the usage of Subanta (nominal) forms in Vedic Sanskrit. (b) लौकिकसंस्कृतभाषायाः स्वरूपवैशिष्ट्यं निरूपणीयम् । 15 Explain the distinctive features of the structure of Classical Sanskrit language. (c) लौकिकसंस्कृतभाषायां ध्वनिविज्ञानस्य महिमा वर्णनीयः । 15 Describe the significance of phonetics in Classical Sanskrit language.
3. अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः समाधेयाः : 15+10+15+10=50 Answer all the following questions : (a) 'रम्या रामायणी कथा' इत्युक्तिः समीक्षणीया । 15 Critically examine the maxim – 'रम्या रामायणी कथा' । (b) 'काव्यस्यात्मा ध्वनि'रिति वचः सोदाहरणं विवेचनीयम् । 10 Explain with suitable examples, the statement – 'काव्यस्यात्मा ध्वनि'रिति । (c) 'कारुण्यं भवभूतिरेव तनुते' इति सूक्तिः सन्निदर्शनेन विमर्शनीया । 15 Discuss the maxim – 'कारुण्यं भवभूतिरेव तनुते', with appropriate examples. (d) चम्पूकाव्यस्य विकासक्रमः निरूपणीयः । 10 Explain the course of development of Champū literature.
4. अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः समाधेयाः : 20+15+15=50 Answer all the following questions : (a) संस्कृतमहाकाव्यानाम् उद्भवः विकासश्च समुपवर्ण्यताम् । 20 Describe the origin and development of Sanskrit Mahākāvyas (epic poems). (b) 'यत्र भारते तत्र भारते' इत्युक्तिः साधु विविच्यताम् । 15 Properly explain the statement – 'यत्र भारते तत्र भारते' । (c) संस्कृतकाव्यशास्त्रे प्रतिपादितं काव्यलक्षणं समीक्ष्यताम् । 15 Critically examine the definition of poetry (Kāvya-lakṣaṇa) as propounded in Sanskrit poetics.
5. अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः संस्कृतभाषया समाधेयाः : 10×5=50 Answer all of the following (to be written in Sanskrit language) : (a) संगीतकलायां प्राच्यभारतस्य अवदानं परिशील्यताम् । 10 (b) संस्कारेषु विवाहोत्सवस्य महत्त्वम् उपवर्ण्यताम् । 10 (c) पुरुषार्थचतुष्टयस्य विवेचना क्रियताम् । 10 (d) चिकित्साशास्त्रे आचार्यचरकस्य समवदानं समुपवर्ण्यताम् । 10 (e) 'धन्यो गृहस्थाश्रमः' इत्युक्तिमाश्रित्य गृहस्थाश्रमस्य महत्ता समुपपादनीया । 10
6. अधोलिखिताः सर्वे प्रश्नाः समाधेयाः : 20+15+16=50 Answer all the following questions : (a) बौद्धदर्शनानुरूपं शिष्यचतुष्टयमतम् उद्धृत्य 'सर्वं शून्यं सर्वं शून्यम्' इत्युक्तिः व्याख्यायताम् । 20 Explain the statement – 'सर्वं शून्यं सर्वं शून्यम्', according to Buddhist philosophy, citing the views of the fourfold disciples. (b) योगदर्शनानुसारं क्रियायोगः समुपवर्ण्यताम् । 15 Describe Kriyā-Yoga according to the Yoga philosophy. (c) श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतानुसारं भक्तियोगस्य स्वरूपं सलक्षणं प्रतिपाद्यताम् । 15 Explain the nature of Bhakti-Yoga according to the Śrimad Bhagavad Gītā, along with its defining characteristics.
